The characters of one of the most popular anime series on television ‘revive’ as real people thanks to the artificial intelligence. A user used the Midjourney application to create several of Dragon Ball Z.
The images have caused a stir on social networks, due to their surprising death with the animated versions of each character.
The user @mortecouille92 asked artificial intelligence to generate photographs of the most representative characters in the anime, including: Bulma, Master Roshi, Krillin and Piccolo. In addition, this technology portrayed the first transformation of the four main Saiyans of the saga.
“We already have a movie that accurately represents what they would look like in real life”, wrote a user on the Reddit platform. While several netizens have praised the work of the artificial intelligence, others have criticized the Caucasian features of some characters when they are supposed to have a more Japanese appearance. This is the case with Goku, who looks like a handsome, muscular, brown-haired young European in his natural state. Instead, after the transformation, the super saiyan has a rougher appearance and blonde hair.
On the other hand, realistic portraits include images of Napa, Vegeta’s partner who terrorized the inhabitants of Earth in the first part of the Dragon Ball Z saga; and Piccolo, the evil and cunning antagonist who wants to become the highest authority on this planet to unleash chaos.
Another of the characterizations that has most attracted the attention of users is the image of Bulma, the female protagonist of the anime who is characterized by being determined, adventurous, and intelligent. In fact, this last quality is manifested in her invention of the time machine that allowed Future Trunks to travel to the past to change history. This woman was married to Vegeta.
