I leave the great task of governing this dignified people of the city to go out and meet the people of Mexico, to give continuity to the fourth transformation of the Republic, to make it a reality that a woman leads the destinies of the nation,” he said in the massive meeting with the citizens.

According to most polls, Sheinbaum is the favorite in the internal contestwhose result will be known on September 6, and with it she would become her party’s candidate for the presidency of Mexico.
It is expected that during the afternoon of Friday, after renouncing his position, he formalizes his registration as a candidate for what Morena has called the “national coordinator for the defense of the fourth transformation”, as the movement of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador is known, which which, practically, will mean being the presidential candidate.
