Today is Halo 3’s birthday, and to celebrate the game’s anniversary, the studio 343 Industries has announced that an iconic Halo 3 map is coming to Halo Infinite.. It will arrive as a complete remake using the Forge tools. That map is The Pit, a 4v4 Arena map with a multi-tiered, symmetrical layout. The developers say that fans can expect the remake to be available in-game after Halo Infinite’s winter update arrives in November.
Interestingly, the developers have chosen to ditch the UNSC training facility aesthetic for a high-tech, futuristic look, complete with bright neon lights, black and white surfaces, and a cosmic sky full of stars. This Halo 3 map has also been scaled to better match Halo Infinite’s movement mechanics. Secondly, They built Hobbiton from The Lord of the Rings in Halo Infinite’s Forge mode and it’s amazing.

Power weapon generators and other Halo Infinite items have also been added to the Halo 3 map. The map was introduced during the Halo Championship Series competitive event which is being held in Orlando, Florida and was played during a series between the Triggers Down and Instinct teams. Triggers Down achieved victory by controlling the high ground of the map and making good use of the sniper rifles that appear, a strategy that has proven its worth since 2007.
Certain Affinity would have confirmed the battle royale of Halo Infinite
Overall, it is impressive to see that One of Halo 3’s best maps is coming to Halo Infinite, especially since the game currently lacks a sufficient amount of map variety. It’s a great way to celebrate the classic title’s birthday, and many veterans are no doubt looking forward to jumping into the remake in matchmaking for a blast from the past.
