When it comes to creativity and dedication, it seems that video game fans go to great lengths to show love to their favorite characters. It is so that we constantly find incredible cosplays, commemorative objects, illustrations and all kinds of creations alluding to these circulating on the internet.
Of course, the launch of Elden Ring was one of the biggest events this year, so it’s no surprise that fan tributes have reached the iconic open world. Elden Ringwhich went on sale last February, has become the best selling game of 2022surpassing iconic games like Pokemon Legends: Arceus and LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
Thus, multiple opinions and debates about the gameplay, game mechanics and graphics have flooded the internet ever since. But best of all, along with his advice and anecdotes with the experience in Elden Ring, the creations of his players are increasingly elaborate and impressive.
A replica of the Malenia helmet
As you could read before, the ways that fans have to pay tribute to Elden Ring have been different during these months. And what we can see today is a 3D printed replica of Malenia’s helmetone of the most challenging bosses in the Elden Ring.
However, the creation of this creative player is not surprising, as Malenia, the sword of Miquella, has become a fan-favorite enemy, thanks to her wide range of melee combat and special attacks.
In case you haven’t played her yet, Malenia is an essential character according to the Elden Ring lore. She possesses a prosthetic leg and arm and can be found in Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree. She is the twin sister of Miquella, another of the most powerful empiricists. She does not possess a shadow, which has generated a great deal of speculation about her history. And, after being defeated, Malenia leaves an incredible 480,000 runes, the Great Rune of Malenia and the Memory of the Goddess of Decay. Players can even exchange the Memory of the Goddess of Decay for an additional 50,000 runes or give it to Enia at the Round Table to get Malenia’s armor.
To give us an idea of the power that this boss possesses, considered one of the strongest in Elden Ring, it should be mentioned that beating her is so difficult that an open world player needed only 363 attempts to defeat her. For their part, other legendary players, such as Let Me Solo Her, have fought Malenia over 2,000 timesemerging victorious in battles.
So, given his popularity, he is and has been an inspiration for Elden Ring fans. In this sense, most of the works of art that have been made on her are digital, but this fanatic went a step further by making a 3D replica of Malenia’s helmet.
A Reddit user named kgwil_, shared his latest platinum trophy in the Elden Ring and, in celebration, made an incredible 3D replica of the famous Malenia helmet. In the image she posted, the creator is wearing her golden helmet. Apart from having all the details of the original helmet, in the description of the publication she states that the resistance is quite good, despite being created with a 3D printer. Not surprisingly, the post is receiving a lot of attention from the Elden Ring fan community, who have made positive comments about the creation and the game. So far, the post has garnered more than 1,900 upvotes.
You can see below the Malenia helmet that has caused a sensation on Reddit:
It’s amazing how detailed the 3D helmet is, along with the vibrant color that covers the entire surface of it. For its part, the wings on the back fully adhere to what we can see in Elden Ring. The same with the fixed viewfinder that gives it an imposing look. The back of the helmet, just like the original, opens to reveal the creator’s hair. Thus, the winged helmet of Malenia is one of the most characteristic accessories of the enemy, while the greaves, armor and gauntlet are a fundamental part of her clothing.
Of course, the creator of the helmet hasn’t completed the outfit, but it wouldn’t be surprising if she decided to finish the iconic outfit of the Elden Ring’s most difficult boss in the future.
