A lot can be said for video games that allow players to do what they want, when they want, with little consequence. With Goat Simulator, players go through various levels destroying houses, licking everything in sight and headbutting anyone who gets in their way.
Now, Goat Simulator 3 has been featured in the Gamescom 2022 with an action-packed trailer showcasing the best aspects of being a goat. In traditional Goat Simulator fashion, there seems to be no end to the madness as fans can take a look at the different styles of goats available to choose from with a costume feature, including shoes, hats and suits.
Pilgor is then shown romping through different levels, sometimes with friends, and playing different games along the way. At the end of the trailer, it is revealed that the game is available for “pre-purchase” and that its release is set for November 17, 2022.
A panning, winding camera tour of a quaint-looking farm turns into a close-up of Pilgor the goat giving a yelp before the trailer launches to show what he’s up to. Goat Simulator such a strange simulation game, including Pilgor being swallowed by a whale and watching a pet banana dance.
Various mini-games are also brought forward, with something that looks like the ground is lava, lots of tractor launches, and even racing with other goats. The trailer continues like this, only offering a momentary respite in a yoga studio, which is then promptly destroyed.
Since no direct answer has been given as to why Coffee Stain has moved from Goat Simulator to Goat Simulator 3Skipping a sequel altogether, it may not be so surprising that the trailer is full of craziness.
