According to Cancer.net, In the United States, about 730 people under the age of 20 are diagnosed with leukemia each year.
Acute myeloid leukemia is the second most common form of leukemia in children.
The minor patient is identified as Chloe Michelle Sullivan, who at her young age has had to fight for her life against leukemia. Relatives of the patient have decided to share Chloe’s fight against leukemia on social networks.
In a video that has gone viral on social networks, Chloe’s parents informed Internet users of the condition and the difficulties they have suffered as a family when they see their little girl go through her life with a deadly disease such as leukemia.
The viral video shows little Chloe who in September 2020 celebrated her first year of life. According to what was reported in the video, shortly after her birthday in October of that year she was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia.
According to the Mayo Clinic, Leukemia is cancer of the body’s blood-forming tissues, including the bone marrow and lymphatic system. Leukemia usually involves white blood cells. But in people who have leukemia, the bone marrow makes too many abnormal white blood cells that don’t work properly.

Returning to the content of the viral video, the minor had two chemotherapy sessions. After the chemotherapies that the minor received, the specialists and parents had to wait for her body to recover in order to perform a bone marrow transplant.
The bone marrow transplant was carried out in January 2021 and although the patient had an improvement in her health, the leukemia began to gain ground again. This time the cancer returned but now it did so in his skin so he had to undergo chemotherapy treatment again and receive a second bone marrow transplant.
On May 6, 2021, Chloe lost her fight against leukemia. The devastated family still uses social media to share messages of love for their one-year-old and five-month-old daughter Chloe.
