MSCHF is an American art collective known for breaking into the world of fashion with its extravagant ideas. From sneakers like Jesus Shoes until Satan Shoes, passing by Astro Boy’s huge red boots, they leave anyone speechless.
For 2023 they are working on new sneakers, perhaps not as irreverent as the previous ones, but very strange. And to launch them they teamed up with Reebok.
This is how the MSCHF x Reebok Pump Omni Zone 2, which are expected for a soon release.
The reinvention of Reebok’s legendary Pump Omni Zone comes with the explosive touch of MSCHF. They have the characteristic style of the Big Red Boots, but adapting to the silhouette of Reebok sneakers.
The disruptive element appears both on the upper part of the tongue, on the lateral and medial sides, with kind of yellow buttons, like the ones the Pumps always used.
The color palette used by the MSCHF x Reebok Pump Omni Zone 2 works with neutral base, with yellow and light blue details.
However, the only images that were seen were shared by Complex, and other elements of the shoes don’t look very good. We will have to wait for the official launch, which does not yet have a date.
let’s remember some of the most controversial elements of MSCHF, the art collective based in Brooklyn, New York.
The Jesus Shoes and the Satan Shoes They were built from a Nike Air Max 97, the first with holy water in the space intended for the air bubble; the second… with blood.
Nike reacted to the MSCHF product with a demand, which finally ended with an agreement to avoid marketing the sneakers and disassociate the Swoosh company from them.
Another of the most curious models of MSCHF It was the one with the Big Red Boots, huge boots that followed the style of those worn by Astro Boy, the Japanese comic from the 60s.
