Ready to turn on your Cosmos? Sony Pictures confirmed the film’s release date live action of Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac in theaters in Latin America. And if! It will be a simultaneous release with respect to the date already announced for Japan.
The Polish Tomasz Baginskinominated for an Oscar for the short film katedra (2002), was in charge of directing the live action of Saint Seiya for Toei Animation and Stage 6 Films, from Sony Pictures. Josh Campbell and Matt Stuecken (10 Cloverfield Avenue) co-wrote the final drafts of the script. Additionally, the creative team included Andy Cheng (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings).
The main cast of the film is made up of: Mackenyu (Pacific Rim: Uprising) as Seiya; Madison Isemann (jumanji) as Sienna; Sean Bean (The Lord of the rings) as Alman Kiddo and Famke Janssen (X Men) as Guraad.
In an interview with VarietyJapanese producer Yoshi Ikezawa mentioned that they hope to turn this live-action Hollywood adaptation into a long-running franchise.
“We made this movie [live-action de Saint Seiya] as a basis for making sequels. And we have already started discussions about it,” said the representative of Toei Animation. “We are thinking of a series of six films.”

When will the premiere be? live action of Saint Seiya in Latin America?
Sony Pictures announced that Latin America will be the first region in the world to enjoy the premiere of the live action of Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac.
The film will be released on Thursday, April 27, 2023 in theaters in Mexico, Brazil and the rest of Latin America; one day before the release scheduled for April 28 in theaters in Japan.
Other notable dates on the international calendar are: May 12 in the United States and May 26 in Spain.
