Elden Ring is finally available to play worldwide. However, it seems that the performance of the title is not as expected, taking into account the power of new generation consoles and PCs, as we can see in videos such as those shared by El Analista de Bits.
In this video, the analyst compare the performance of Elden Ring on all platforms. In short, PC is obviously the platform that comes out best at the level of images per second, however, it suffers from very severe stuttering problems, which cause that, even maintaining a high fps rate, the experience is far from being as smooth as it should be.

Then we find, totally unpredictably, the Ps4 version running on Ps5. Its lower resolution and lower graphic level in aspects such as grass density make this the most fluid way to play the new From Software title, maintaining a continuous 60 fps rate. Behind it, is the Ps5 version, after Xbox Series Xwhich offers a more irregular frame rate than Sony’s platform and longer loading screens. Finally there is the Xbox Series S versionwhich offers the worst performance of all new generation platforms.

Certainly a performance well below expectations, especially on Xbox platforms, which seem to have been the least optimized of all. You can read our analysis of Elden Ring here.
