Arrest of the young doctor in Spain
According to other media, the young man, in addition to providing home care, also managed to transfer a patient to a health center, where he requested admission. The warning signs were identified in August when members of the Spanish police intervened in the home of a psychiatric patient accompanied by the presumed young doctor.
The policemen observed strange behavior during the performance of the alleged doctor, since, at times he acted with security and credibility and at others in a puerile manner, so they decided to notify the health authorities.
So the authorities began to investigate his identity and the studies of the professional. Some time after the investigation, it was discovered that the supposed doctor was a 17-year-old boy without any type of health studies.
Modus Operandi and Arrest
It is believed that the alleged impersonator’s modus operandi consisted of calling the emergency services to ask about cases that had not yet been treated, and then offering to perform them, since he was a doctor on duty with an ambulance.
The young man is accused of a crime of professional intrusion of a doctor and remains on provisional release awaiting trial in Spain.
