With the purpose of creating a community that shares and learns from itself through the voice of the stories of women who have achieved a clear impact on their environment, the Coordinating Council of Business Women Chapter of Mexico City (CCME CDMX), in alliance with OpiniĆ³n 51 and Tack Editorial, created ELLAS, a communication platform that aims to build ties through shared experiences.
ELLAS, a platform to inspire
The ELLAS platform will give voice and visibility to the stories of inspiring women in 10 different categories: businesswoman, executive, teaching, creative, science, opinion leader, high impact, nation development, international (Mexicans with projects abroad and foreign citizens with a local impact) and athletes.
To be selected and published on the platform, those who participate must comply with a nomination process (by a third party) or self-nomination, completing an online form to transmit their story. In addition, we have developed a methodology based on four pillars that each story must meet in order to be subsequently evaluated by a selection committee made up of a panel of entrepreneurs and business advisors.
Women represent an important link in society with a participation of 45% in the labor market. Their economic activity generates 37% of the Gross Domestic Product in Mexico and, in addition, they create more than 2.9 million jobs; all of them have a story to tell about their trajectory and experience to inspire many other people, women and men, and form ties in a community.
