According to them in their internal study, hThey have come to the conclusion that the study, development and use of biotechnology, blockchain or artificial intelligence in the agri-food industry promote the optimization of natural and human resources, while promoting environmental sustainability, traceability, control of quality of the products or even anticipating the real needs of the cropsaccording to its context and typology.

Likewise, he pointed out that, in terms of profitability, According to the Inndux500 Tech Trends 2023 Consensus Report, data analytics and Artificial Intelligence are of enormous importance in agriculture, and can even increase revenues by up to 50% from the point of view of agricultural performance and productivity.
Technology and sustainability, the keys to agri-food change
On the other hand, in the presentation of the report they mentioned that within the new technologies that give “meaning and form” to this agrotech ecosystem also stand out satellite images, AI, geopositioning, 5G networks and Big Data.
In this sense, Carlos Seara, director of Red AgroBank at the official presentation of the global results of the Open Call, spoke saying that the main challenges of the sector: productivity, sustainability and traceability, can only be successfully faced through new technological solutions, which, in the opinion of Alejandro Larosa, co-founder and president of Agrofy, and Martin Ducroquet, co-founder of Sencrop, promote interconnectivity between producers and productive efficiency, classified as essential to ensure advanced and fair agri-food distribution in three directions: transparency of the data, planned management and control of environmental impact.
