In a few days we will be able to relive Sonic’s first adventures in the best possible way with the launch of Sonic Origins. To prepare the ground for its imminent launch, SEGA invites us to watch a new trailer that shows all the details of the different game modes that will be part of this compilation.
The first thing to remember is that in this collection we can enjoy the remastered versions of the mythical Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles and Sonic CD. Starting from this base, we will be able to choose the Classic mode with a resolution of 4:3, in which we will have limited lives and with its corresponding game over screen.
On the other hand, the Anniversary mode will increase the resolution to 16:9, although here there will be infinite lives so that everyone can play what they want no matter what. To these will be added Story mode that combines all four games into a single connected adventure. In fact, new openings and ending scenes will be added to all four titles.
On the other hand, those who want to face a different challenge can face all the final bosses in one go in Boss Rush mode, face missions of all kinds in Mission mode or try to overcome all the phases in reverse in Mirror mode. In addition, coins can be collected to be exchanged at the Museum, which contains music, conceptual art images and videos from the saga, among which there will be unpublished material to date.
Thanks to all this, it is reaffirmed that sonic origins will be a very special compilation with which you can do from June 23 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC on the Epic Games Store and Steam.
