SRO Motorsports has closed another successful season of the GT World Challenge Europe. In a campaign in which the 24 Hours of Spa have once again recovered the public and the calendar of the GT3 category par excellence has been able to develop with a certain normality, Dries Vanthoor and Charles Weerts have been two of the protagonists by winning the overall and Sprint Cup titles, fueling the Team WRT treble in the team rankings. However, the 3 Hours of Barcelona served to close the Endurance Cup title in favor of Alessandro Pier Guidi, Côme Ledogar and Nicklas Nielsen, Ferrari # 51 drivers.
Starting the review by the absolute general of the GT World Challenge Europe, Dries Vanthoor and Charles Weerts are the champions by drivers after dominating the season in the # 32 Audi of the Team WRT, performance that has also served the Belgian team to score the team title. For its part, Alex Fontana has been proclaimed champion of the Silver Cup with the Lamborghini # 14, also winning the title for the Emil Frey Racing team. Finally, the pair formed by Miguel Ramos and Henrique Chaves have won the Pro-Am Cup title, in turn won the team title for Barwell Motorsport.
The Endurance Cup has been resolved in Barcelona in favor of Alessandro Pier Guidi, Côme Ledogar and Nicklas Nielsen, drivers of the Ferrari # 51 of AF Corse. All in all, the team title went to Team WRT, as Audi’s Belgian structure has achieved the triple crown in this section. For its part, Rolf Ineichen, Ricardo Feller and Alex Fontana have scored the Silver Cup title of the endurance modality, which has led Emil Frey Racing to win the team title. Finally, Chris Froggatt has won the Pro-Am Cup crown, in turn handing over the championship to Tempesta Racing.
