the traditional Day of the Dead Parade which is done in the Mexico City is getting closer, for this year they prepared a show with drones, lights and pyrotechnics.
The government of Mexico City announced that the theme for this year’s edition will be “Mexico, the navel of the moon.”
Around 410,000 people are expected to attend the parade and there will be an economic benefit of 4 billion pesos.
Drone show at the Day of the Dead parade
On Saturday, October 29, at 5:00 p.m., the Day of the Dead Parade 2022 will take place, which will depart from the Puerta de los Leones, on Paseo de la Reforma and Calle de Lieja; to the Zócalo of the capital.
Local authorities detailed that the parade will feature 10 allegorical cars, 29 pushable super props, four monumental balloons, among other shows. The tour is expected to last just over three hours.
It is important to point out that the allegorical cars will be illuminated, so they will enter the Constitution Plaza in the evening.

The show with drones and pyrotechnics will begin when the cars arrive at the CDMX Zócalo. Later, there will be a presentation by the singer Ángela Aguilar.

In addition, for this year it will be the first time that the capital government places lights alluding to the Day of the Dead in the buildings surrounding the Plaza de la Constitución.
The mosaics of led lights will be placed until next November 20 and will have a traditional Mexican approach, according to the CDMX government.
