Lisbeth Valverde, in a interview with Teleticacleared up any doubt by explaining that his words at the time of the live were misinterpreted due to the shock he experienced at the result.
“When I did the live, I was shocked, I was very sad because they didn’t call me to the Top 20. I think many people have misinterpreted what I said. They have even thought that I did not agree with Sheynnis winning, there are videos of me asking about the top and I mentioned her and Miss Thailand. Sheynnis has even said that I supported her and held her hand when she won and told her that she deserved it. That’s how it was and she greatly misunderstood what I said. Obviously when I said it, she was sad and shocked, but it’s very normal”, he clarified.

But I am grateful for the opportunity, I am happy that Sheynnis won, to see Miss Australia and Miss Thailand in the Top 3, that I met both of them”.
