we have already made one list of the XGS games that we could see and that we want to see in the showcase next week: the Gears of War collection, The Mandalorian, new Banjo Kazooie, Avowed, Starfield, Redfall, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, Forza Motorsport 8. All these games that, in addition to AAA projects, will launch on Xbox Game Pass , as do all of Microsoft’s first party exclusives.

And that of course can frustrate many fans who eagerly await news about these games. But the news is not all bad about it. The XGS will also show off some of its other titles in production, one of which could be the long-awaited Fable game.

In addition to the games mentioned, there is an interesting Xbox Game Pass announcement opportunity with Activision. It’s unclear to what extent Microsoft will collaborate with Activision this year, as the acquisition is still in the process of closing, but we could at least see some collaboration with the upcoming Activision games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Overwatch 2, Diablo 4 or that mysterious Blizzard survival game.
It is undeniable that it is difficult for Xbox to completely fill the void left by the absence of Starfield and Redfall in 2022.
