Official data reveals that, at present, Twitter has more than 300 million active users worldwide.
Twitter has its new editing button ready, a function it announced a few months ago, but to access it, users must pay a monthly amount, as if it were a subscription.
Twitter is one of the social networks that, in a way, started it all. Along with Facebook, despite the fact that platforms such as MSN Messenger, Hi5, MySpace, among others, already existed, Twitter became one of the most used platforms by the “cyber community”.
Today, taking into account that there is a greater number of social networks and according to what is indicated DataReportal, Twitter occupies the 15th position, with more than 300 million active users so fardespite the fact that, according to official data, there are more than a billion accounts registered.
However, For some time now, the platform has been determined to add users to its portfolio, which is why it is constantly being updated in many of its functions, thus granting different experiences to users.
From this perspective, and as part of its expansion, the so-called “little bird social network” apparently has several new functions ready, which it has been launching little by little, as is the case with its “edit button”, the which, even, announced months ago, but it is only now that it will begin to test it.
Through In a statement, the social network announced that this function, at the moment, is in its testing phase and basically what it is about is a new button that will allow users to modify their tweets once they have been published.
In other words, it is like what is done on Facebook when, for some reason, users decide to modify their posts; however, in the case of twitter, Internet users will have only 30 minutes to modify, correct or completely change their tweets.
Edited Tweets will appear with an icon, timestamp, and label so readers can clearly see that the original Tweet has been edited.
The bad news is that, according to what Twitter reports, this editing button will be exclusively for users of Blue, its payment service, and it would be arriving at the end of this month.
At the moment, Twitter Blue is only available in countries like Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United States and is priced at $4.99 per month, two dollars more than at the beginning.
The experience of Internet users has changed a lot in their way of browsing, where platforms such as TikTok, Instagram and others redesign their functions in order to offer something different to users.
Recently, to mention an example, Telegram and Snapchat launched their paid subscription service. According to what has been reported, the Snapchat subscription plan will cost 3.99 dollars per month (about $73.55 Mexican pesos).
Secondly, Telegram Premium, the new section of the social network, costs 4.99 dollars per month (about 83.55 Mexican pesos).
Undoubtedly, social networks are very different from what they were before, offering more and more complete scenarios for the digital community.
