The fifth episode of Peacemaker brought us a bonding moment between Christopher Smith and his peers, now known as the 11th Street Kids, something that was not in the episode’s script.
In addition to the black humor, the violence in some of its scenes and a story that has captivated millions of fans around the world, Peacemaker has managed to have a cast united as a brotherhood, something that becomes evident in the famous 11th Street Kids scene. .

After Peacemaker, Vigilante, Leota Adebayo, Emilia Hartcourt, and John Economist manage to take down the Butterflies food distribution site, the team returns to the base where they operate, happy to have accomplished their mission.
On that journey, the song 11th Street Kids, by the Hanoi Rocks band, is heard, at a time when Emilia Hartcourt takes the opportunity to take a photo with the team celebrating in the van.
But that was not all, since Hartcourt created a group on WhatsApp where he included his companions, which he baptized 11th Street Kids, a moment which was not in the script for episode 5.
From on-screen camaraderie to reality brotherhood
In both the installments of the Guardians (of the House in front) and in The Suicide Squad, James Gunn manages to create a great family between the production team, the cast and the producers, something that is reflected in the frame.
James Gunn himself shared the photo of the group that the Peacemaker actors put together on WhatsApp. Unlike the series, this group did include Chukwudi Iwuji, who plays Clemson Murn, the leader of the team investigating the Butterfly project.

Also on his social networks, Gunn shared the photo that Jennifer Holland took, which despite being included in the plot of the fifth episode, this moment was spontaneous and unscripted.
SW @jennlholland really took the #11thStreetKids photo & that’s really her finger in the lower left of the frame (no it wasn’t planned!) #PeacemakerParty #Peacemaker pic.twitter.com/bLQsq1tyxt

Jennifer Holland actually took the #11thStreetKids photo and that’s actually her finger in the bottom left of the frame (no, it wasn’t planned!).
Even the recurring joke of the siren emoji in the messages is the way in which James Gunn closes his messages on Whatsapp when he speaks to his casts or the production teams where he collaborates.
Peacemaker features an ensemble cast headed by John Cena as Christopher Smith/Peacemaker, Jennifer Holland as Emilia Harcourt, and Steve Agee as John Economos.
Joining this series are Danielle Brooks as Leota Adebayo, Robert Patrick as Auggie Smith, Chris Conrad as Vigilante, Christopher Heyerdahl as Captain Locke, Chukwudi Iwuji as Clemson Murn, Lochlyn Munro as Larry Fitzgibbon, and Annie Chang as Sophie Song.
The first chapters of Peacemaker are now available on the HBO Max platform.
