We know that telephone companies have improved their data packages. And also that in every corner of big cities there is Wi-Fi available. However, there is always a gap where we only have access to our own Internet and we must take care of it in case of an emergency.
The best option is activate data saving mode. Most social media apps have a data saver mode that reduces the quality of videos and images to consume less data.

- Open Instagram and tap your profile photo.
- Tap the three horizontal lines in the top right corner.
- Select Settings & privacy.
- Scroll down to Your App & Media.
- Tap Data usage and media quality.
- Activate the toggle next to Data saver.
TikTok
- Open the TikTok app and tap Profile.
- Tap the three horizontal lines in the top right corner.
- Select Settings & privacy.
- Scroll down to Cache & Cellular and tap Data Saver.
- On the next page, activate the toggle next to Data saver.
