It’s only been a couple of days since Gamescom 2022’s Opening Night Live surprised us with the first gameplay of Lies of P, with which we could see that the video game inspired by the Pinocchio universe also clearly drank from Bloodborne for its setting, something that has undoubtedly been reaffirmed with the new video that IGN has left us.
In the next 12 minute gameplay we can take a better look at its gameplay with which it is noted that the title it’s a souls like, either because of the interface or how challenging the confrontations will be against any enemy that roams the stage. In this sense, we will have to attack, protect ourselves and dodge at the right times.
All the action of the video takes place in an industrial city, with numerous enemies in the form of robots that we can annihilate with the melee weapons that we catch, but also with the robotic arm that our protagonist will have, which gives the impression that we can improve it and even grant it different uses.
Of course, it looks like we should be aware that we are going to die many times, as in other games of the same genre. Even so, for this it will be necessary to wait until 2023 on a date to be specified, since the launch of Lies of P it’s set for next year on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and also Xbox Game Pass from day one.
