After the tremendous joy that ‘The Batman’ gave the Spanish box office the weekend of its premiere, in which it gave a blow of authority reigning alone with a not inconsiderable 3.4 million euros in three days on the bill, collection has fallen again by 17% between March 11 and 13; being supported again by the feature film starring Robert Pattinson and directed by Matt Reeves.
Bats, adventures and… K-Pop stars?
In its second week on the bill, DC’s latest Batman adventure returned to number one, but seeing its collection reduced to 1.96 million euros. A figure that is not negligible at all and that opens a gigantic gap with ‘Uncharted’, which repeated in second place leaving €200,000 along the way and amassing a total of 0.6 million euros in its fifth week.
The great surprise of the billboard was given by the concert ‘BTS: Permission to dance on stage – Seoul’, which won the bronze medal with data that invite reflection. The K-Pop group’s performance not only collected €0.59 million, technically tied with ‘Uncharted’; it also drew 30,000 spectators to theaters, achieving the best average per screen of the year. Amazing.
Closing the Top 5 with the most viewed, we find the premiere of the hilarious zombie comedy set in the Civil War ‘Malnazidos’, which debuted with 0.36 million euros; and with ‘Ainbo, the warrior of the Amazon’which continues to cling to the top of the table with another 0.29 million euros after three weeks of projection.
We’ll see if the premieres of ‘Emperor Code’ and ‘The Bad Guys’ they manage to revitalize a box office that fell below 6 million euros again; although something tells me that until it arrives ‘Morbius’ next April 1 we will not see the shock we are waiting for.
