Not even the current situation seems to have truncated Samsung’s plans regarding the launch of new terminals: except for a last-minute surprise, everything points to the Samsung Galaxy Note20 arriving in late summer, as planned.
And although they still separate us a few months until their launch, the leaks were swift, and we already know some data from the Galaxy Note20 series.
The Galaxy Note20 will arrive with Exynos 992 and up to 16 GB of RAM
For some weeks now we know that, among the novelties of the Galaxy Note20, a new Snapdragon 992 processor for the global version of the device is included, with which Samsung plans to [redeem and reinforce the weak points of the Exynos 990]) that the models mount S20 series. In addition, everything points to the fact that at least one of the configurations of this new model will arrive with 16 GB of RAM.
The latest data on the device comes from the CEO of Display Chain Consultants, Ross Young, who claims to have had access to information regarding the screen of the new Samsung flagship phone. In that sense, he points out that the Note20 series models will arrive with the second generation of Qualcomm’s apparently more accurate and faster 3D Sonic Max on-screen ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and with the ability to read two different fingerprints simultaneously.
On the other hand, it has confirmed that the terminals will have the same hole in the screen that the current Galaxy Note10 integrates.
Beyond that, from AndroidCentral they suggest that the battery of the “Plus” model will be 4,500 mAh incapacity, the same figure that we find inside the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus, compared to 4,000 in the “normal” Galaxy Note20 – again, the same figure as the Galaxy S20 -. This model will also be the first by Samsung to have an LTPO screen with a variable refresh rate up to a maximum of 120Hz – apparently, the Plus model will be the only one to have a screen with a high refresh rate. This technology should mean a reduction in energy consumption of between 15 and 20%.
But there is more, the renowned – although not always reliable – Chinese leaker Ice Universe points to the inclusion of the same main 108-megapixel HM1 sensor found in the Galaxy S20 Ultra. However, Samsung would have chosen to add a new sensor in charge of assisting the main one when focusing, thus aspiring to eliminate the focus problems that are still present in the most leading model of the S20 series.
Galaxy Note20 + will still use 108mp HM1, but add a new sensor to assist in focusing and completely solve the focusing problem.

Finally, photos of what appear to be the Galaxy Note20’s design schemes have been shared. In them you can see an appearance not very different from that of the current Note10, with a rectangular body with well-marked corners, a hole centered on the screen and a camera module where the sensors are arranged vertically.
