From time to time, video games emerge that resist being forgotten thanks to the use of free DLC. In this sense, Dying Light is one of the games that struggled the most to maintain its status as a cult game with endless content without the obligation to checkout. And with him metroidvania by Koji Igarashi, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, the same thing happens, by continuing to add totally free DLC.
After receiving multiple additional game modes, as well as characters, it is now the turn of a crossover very special that we never thought would be produced. Neither more nor less than the protagonist of the beautiful Child of Light from Ubisoft.
And when will this DLC be available? Tomorrow, March 31. Now, only on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Its creators say that Switch will come later.
And while her video introduction teaser only shows Aurora for a couple of seconds, this crossover It will not be limited to an aesthetic change for the protagonist, but will have its own arsenal and abilities. Without going any further, Aurora is equipped with her Matildis sword and has Igniculus as her companion to use magic. This one will be able to slow down enemies or heal Aurora, for example.
As we defeat enemies and absorb their crystals, we will gain more power. And when we do the same with certain bosses, we will also unlock several extra abilities for Aurora. A good excuse to replay Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night or start directly with Aurora from the main menu, where we can also find Miriam and Zangetsu.
