According to some experts, this increase was already expected, since the price of the dollar known as the “Qatar Dollar” was 366 pesos for transactions with foreign currency for credit cards issued in Argentina.
In the month of December the parallel currency registered the highest rise since the exchange crisis of July of this year, which had reached 341 pesos. In this way, it set a new nominal record and it is estimated that it will continue to grow due to the inflation suffered by the country.
The twitter account @finanzasargy expressed itself in relation to future projections in the face of the high inflation suffered by the country:
🚨🇦🇷Devaluation in Argentina: two banks project official dollar above $700 in 2024
👉🏻On Wall Street they anticipate an official wholesale dollar of more than $350 within 12 months, well above the projection of the 2023 Budget, which places it at almost $270
