Physical contact with your baby helps him grow and mature well. Cradle him and hug him whenever you can, don’t be afraid to “spoil him” at this stage he needs it a lot.
THE POWER OF HUGS
Hundreds of times you may have heard “it will get used to the arms, don’t carry it”. It is a myth. Children who spend their first year of life in arms or carrying are more affectionate, happy and resistant to common diseases.
The baby still doesn’t understand words, but he does feel your gestures. Your child only knows how to feel love through the skin, through a hug, kisses or a caress. There are many studies that show the positive effect of the loving embrace of parents on the health of the little ones.
WISE BABY
Children are born knowing what they need. If your baby cries it is because he has an unmet basic need. The primary need is the love his parents give him and he needs to receive it in large doses every day. Think about it: How bad can it get to get used to the hugs of the person you love? When he grows up, in the face of any difficulty that comes his way, rest assured that your arms will calm him.
GO TO HER CRYING
Hugs are a “food” for hearts, they mean love and acceptance.
As much as family or friends criticize you, don’t leave your baby crying! He thinks it is his way of communication and if he does it it is because something is wrong.
Your child is adapting to the world and seeks to reaffirm that he is loved and accepted: we all need love and a baby, much more!
