Porsche continues to work at full capacity in the development of one of the most radical versions of the 911. The new Porsche 911 GT3 RS has been hunted, once again, in broad daylight. However, on this occasion, the sighted test vehicle has lost camouflage, revealing new design details.
In recent months there have been numerous sightings of the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS 2022. The iconic German firm continues to work at full capacity in what is one of the most radical and exclusive versions of the “nine eleven”. Porsche is aware of the role that the GT3 RS version plays in the 911 range, which is why it is allocating many resources to achieve the best possible set-up.
Once again, the new 911 GT3 RS has been hunted in broad daylight. However, unlike the test vehicles that have been spotted lately, we find a notable loss of camouflage. Porsche has removed some of the camouflage, which has allowed new design elements to emerge that will form part of the characteristic features of this model.

Just take a quick look at the snapshots that illustrate this article to discover the changes that this test sample presents compared to others hunted previously. In the front, the air intakes that will be in the hood have been exposed. Compared with those of the previous generation of the model, they have gained size and, therefore, prominence. In addition, it seems that in each air intake there will be some small spoilers that, according to the information currently available, there are many possibilities of being active.
What other changes are worth noting? We must pay special attention to the two bumpers as well as the gigantic rear wing, one of its main differentiating features. There are also a few new spoilers. Ultimately, you will be decked out in a body kit specially designed for the occasion. The development process continues to advance and complete stages. It is logical that these developments occur.
In the bowels of the new 911 GT3 RS there will be a powerful gasoline engine. Specifically, a block 4.0-liter naturally aspirated six-cylinder boxer that will develop an approximate power of 550 CV. It is speculated with the possibility that it reaches 580 CV.
When will it hit the market?
The development process is not over yet. Despite this, as we have pointed out at the beginning of the article, Porsche has pressed the accelerator to have it ready as soon as possible. It will reach dealerships in 2022. However, it cannot be ruled out that its debut in society, its coming-out, will take place before the end of 2021.
