The Golden Joystick Awards They are one of the most important awards in the world of video games, and there is less and less time for the ceremony to take place where many of our favorite titles of 2021 will win. The awards ceremony has been going on for 38 years now, and will be held this next November 23. For this reason, those responsible for the ceremony have already revealed the nominations, and we can already bet which one will win the Game of the Year award.
As revealed by the 2021 Golden Joystick Awards, the awards will be divided into 18 different categories. The ones that tend to have the most relevance are the Most Expected Game and, of course, the Game of the Year. However, there will also be awards for Best Active Game, Best Video Game Hardware, Best Community, Best Performance, and much more.

In addition, we will also find categories to reward the best game of each platform, as well as the award of the best platform to play 2021 video games. Among the first, we have to Chivalry 2, Old World, Pathfinder and Wildermyth they will face each other for the award for Best PC Award. Deathloop, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Ratchet & Clank: A Dimension Apart and Returnal they have been chosen for PlayStation; while the candidates for Best Xbox Game will be 12 Minutes, Microsoft Flight Simulator, Psychonauts 2 and The Artful Escape.
The nominees for the Golden Joystick Awards 2021 have been selected by industry leaders, among them we have GamesRadar, PC Gamer, Future Games Show, Retro Gamer, Edge Magazine and Play Magazine.
