The new Porsche 911 GT3 RS again poses in some spy photos, testing on the asphalt of the Nürburgring and also on nearby roads, where we can take a closer look at its most characteristic details. The high-flying sports car will be a novelty in mid-2022.
Two prototypes sighted of the new Porsche 911 GT3 RS 2022, one on the Nürburgring circuit riding hard and the other enjoying more than one route through the countryside surrounding the German track. The new Porsche sports car remains very camouflaged but these spy photos they are more special because they allow you to take a closer look at their details.
The own and unique of this more aggressive variant, which has a configuration more typical of the highest competition. The front hood ducts are already shown uncovered, one of the signs that this model is specially designed for a level feeling, as is the new front grill that features a lip-shaped spoiler.
The new Porsche 911 GT3 RS, closer to production
Porsche is reluctant to remove some camouflage pieces, but prototype with license plate ending in “4001” is more ready for production. It has hardly any hidden parts, beyond the extra protection it presents in the new front wheel arches by hiding the open gills in these more prominent fins.
The side skirts are definitive, as well as mechanical door handles, instead of retractable ones, which means that the sports brand saves weight as much as it can. The new GT3 RS will feature an advanced extreme aerodynamic package, as can be seen from the huge rear spoiler on the large diffuser that houses the two exhausts in the center or the fins on the sides of the roof.
The most radical new variant of the 911 range will debut in mid-2022, going on sale in early 2023. Under the rear hood, it will mount a revised 4.0-liter boxer six-cylinder engine with a maximum power of up to 550 CV. Only offered with PDK seven-speed sports automatic transmission, directing the flow of power to the rear wheels.
