A prototype has been hunted in broad daylight for lighter camouflage.
Mercedes-AMG
continues to work at full capacity in the development process of its new sports saloon. Taking as a starting point the new generation of the Mercedes C-Class, which we can already find in dealerships, different variants will be given life that will wear the particular hallmark of the sports division. One of these new models that is on the way is the new Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC 2022.
Just a few months ago we published very important information about the development of the new Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC. And it was neither more nor less than the star’s brand had chosen to delay its launch for next year. The reason? Mercedes-AMG technicians need a few more months to get the desired set-up. Now, the development process faces the final stretch in southern Europe.

Once again, a prototype of the new Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC has been spotted in broad daylight. However, and unlike previous sightings, we are faced with a sample of evidence that presents a remarkable loss of camouflage. Another symptom that development is facing the phases prior to its great start in society.
Specifically, and as can be seen in the images that illustrate this article, the loss of camouflage is especially evident on the front. The light clusters are exposed as well as the grill and the air intakes that can be found in the bumper. And something similar happens behind. The taillights are also camouflage-free and the four tailpipes accompanied by the rear diffuser can be perfectly seen.
Under the hood of the new Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC 2022 there will be electrified mechanics. The great protagonist will be a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine electrified with 48 Volt Light Hybrid Technology (MHEV). It will also have a large electric turbocharger. It is one of the novelties. The maximum power will reach 390 hp and there will be an “overboost” function that will allow, for a short time, to have extra power.
The new Mercedes-AMG C 43 4MATIC will arrive in 2022
To accompany the aforementioned electrified engine, the brand has opted for a 9G-TRONIC nine-speed automatic gearbox and a 4MATIC all-wheel drive system. The commercial launch of the new model signed by Mercedes-AMG will take place in the first half of 2022.
