The New York Comic Con once again has as its main focus Dragon Ball as a franchise, just two years after details of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero were revealed at this same eventthe most recent film produced by Toei Animation, with the blessing of Akira Toriyama and Toyotaro.
Since then, the announcement of an anime that never ends up coming has been eagerly awaited. Dragon Ball Super aired the last episode of the Tournament of Forces in 2018 and we have had no more news.
In the middle there are two complete arcs developed (Moro’s and Granola’s) and one directed, precisely the one that tells the events that occurred in the film. But they still have not given any news about the continuation of the anime.
That could come to an end with a possible announcement at the next New York Comic Con, which will take place between next Thursday, October 12 and Sunday, October 15. Toei Animation, through a publication on their official Instagram account, announce that there will be a panel dedicated to Dragon Ball on the first day of the event.
“This year’s upcoming New York comic con will feature Dragon Ba’s special panel. Thursday, October 12 from 12:45pm – 1:45pm EST. Get ready for the latest information on DRAGON BALL! Stay tuned!” they posted on Instagram.
The place Earth Gamer reports that from the New York Comic Con platforms they said that Dragon Ball has an “important announcement” to make that first day of the event. Will it be the arrival of anime?
