This electric SUV from Cadillac, which was announced in presale mode last summer and that the first game sold out in just under 10 minutes, has already started its production in the North American factory of General Motors in Spring Hill, Tennessee. The new model is manufactured on the same assembly lines as the Cadillac XT5, XT6 and GMC Acadia, strictly fulfilling the forecasts that the manufacturer made last spring, when Mahmoud S., Vice President of Sales, Services and Marketing of General Motors, endorsed the opening words of Mary Barra who, in November 2020, guaranteed that the LYRIQ would enter production in the first quarter of 2022.

The new Cadillac LYRIQ is the brand’s first model to use the American giant’s advanced specific platform for electric cars. A set in which more than $2,000 million has been invested in the adaptation of the facilities for the production of this model.
The LYRIQ, which is presented with a very avant-garde design, more on the outside than on the inside, where the interior space will be one of the great assets, largely thanks to a length of almost five meters, together with the most advanced digital technology and connectivity, highlighting an immense 33-inch in-dash display, containing instrumentation and multimedia platform and driving assistants «Super Cruise». The LYRIQ will also offer great performance, thanks to a rear electric motor that yields a maximum power of 255 kW -346 CV– already a battery with a capacity of 100 kWh, which has a maximum autonomy with more than 480 kilometers.
