Two of the great Japanese licenses come together.
Throughout all these years it has been possible to see that although each franchise has had its origin in different media, the truth is that Dragon Ball and Pokémon have gone very hand in hand during childhood, adolescence and even adulthood of many people around the world, being so that both licenses have reached the anime, manga and video games with outstanding products in each of these sectors.
Now, if there is something that has not been seen in all these years, it is the fact that there has never been an official crossover between Pokémon and Dragon Ballbeing the closest opportunity to see this become a reality when many fans asked Goku to enter Super Smash Bros as a representative of Bandai Namco, this being something that was not going to happen anyway in view of the fact that Masahiro Sakurai, director of the saga, confirmed that there would be no characters that did not come from video games.
Ash and Goku together in a fanart set in the world of Dragon Ball
Despite this, and in the absence of Pokémon making the leap to Fortnite, we always have the work of the fans, being so in this case we meet again with one already known in the world of Dragon Ball, since, after having made the exchange of clothes between Superman and Goku, the artist known as Salvamakoto has joined Goku and Ash Ketchum in a fanartthereby giving rise to us being able to see both characters together.
It should be noted that, as the artist herself explains in the post she has published on Instagram, the idea of this crossover was that Ash was adapted to the world of Dragon Ball, making him very similar to Goku’s appearance in the original series created by Akira Toriyama. In this way, we see how fans end up fulfilling the wishes of others in terms of crossover and fanservice. Without further delay, we leave you with the post below:
