Last December we had the opportunity to see during the Game Awards event an unforgettable look at the new version of Unreal Engine 5, Epic Games’ own graphics engine, used to recreate the Matrix universe. On a technical and visual level, the demo is one of the most brutal things that we have seen in the industry, and although it is not a complete game, it allows us to see what the studios will be able to do in the future with this graphic engine. Unfortunately, if you haven’t been able to try it already, put it to download right now, since The Matrix Awakens demo will be removed from digital stores in a few days.
In the demo official website we can read that users who have not yet downloaded The Matrix Awakens: An Unreal Engine 5 Experience will need to do so before July 9, day on which it will be removed from all digital stores. Users who already had it before should not worry, since it can be re-installed again without any problem.

Everyone with a next-gen console should at least have this demo in their library, as it will be a long time in which a demonstration surprises us to the level that The Matrix Awakens did just that during the 2021 Games Awards. Do yourself a favor and join Neo and Trinity for this unforgettable demo.
