Everything is ready for this Monday, August 29, to be the launch of the SLS (Space Launch System) megarocket and the Orion spacecraft that will take the first steps for the moon missionr Artemis.
the launch of Artemis i will be at 8:33 a.m. EDT, from Launch Pad 39B at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

NASA reported the following schedule for Monday, August 29:
- August 29 (12 a.m.) – Coverage begins for lunar rocket fueling Space Launch System on the mission
- Artemis I (6:30 a.m). – Artemis I launch coverage begins in English. Launch coverage will continue through translunar injection and spacecraft separation, putting Orion on its way to the Moon. (Two-hour launch window opens at 8:33 a.m. EDT)
- 7:30 am – Launch coverage begins in Spanish on NASA’s Spanish-language social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube) and will continue approximately 15 minutes after liftoff. Mission coverage updates will be posted on NASA’s social media channels in Spanish.
- 12 p.m. – Artemis I post-launch press conference (time subject to change)
- 4 p.m. – Coverage of the first correction
- Orion exit trajectory 5:30 pm. – Coverage of the first Orion images of Earth after translunar injection
