The new MacBook Pros with M1X are practically a reality. Even without official confirmation, we have been speculating for months with the new generation of 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro. One that according to a screenshot will carry the M1X chip and at least 512GB of storage along with 16GB of RAM. Not bad at all for what is believed to be the base model.
MacBook Pro M1X test units with up to 32GB of RAM
Majin Bu is a Twitter user who has occasionally leaked Apple product details ahead of time and later confirmed. This time, the user of the social network claims to have a screenshot of a most revealing iPhone:
Apparently the new MacBook Pro that will be released soon will be equipped with the M1X chip, this is demonstrated by this image of a DVT unit tested in Cupertino #Manzana #AppleInternal # MacBookProM1X pic.twitter.com/jwRVXP4ezq

According to this screenshot, we are looking at the pairing history of an iPhone with a MacBook Pro DVT (test unit). In the details, vemos that is working with the beta of macOS 12 Monterey, which fits with being a developing team. But the most interesting is the hardware section, where we see:
- M1X chip.
- Development silicon.
- 512GB capacity.
- 16GB RAM.
In one of the comments in this thread, it is assured that we will see models with 32GB of RAM
Of course, the data is most interesting. Of course the image could be easily created with an editing program of photos from a real capture. But the truth is that everything mentioned here fits with previous rumors.
The location of this mysterious capture
A crossed-out serial number appears at the end of the capture, although some figures and letters can be obtained. And lower, some coordinates indicating the place of the connection, which lasted a day and a half. These are specifically:
- Latitude: 37.336077.
- Longitude: -122.010758.
If we enter them in Apple Maps, the location of this connection is nothing more and nothing less than … Apple Park! One more detail than brings coherence to the story of this screenshot. Luckily, the MacBook Pros with M1X will arrive next month to clear up the doubts.
In summary, we have a screenshot that points to a MacBook Pro with M1X chip, 512GB of memory, 16GB of RAM (with 32GB optional), using a version of macOS Monterey and located inside the Apple Park building. White and bottled.
