Dacia has been monopolizing the low-cost brand label for years, but in recent times some rival manufacturers have stepped up. And this B-SUV from Škoda has what it takes to take the throne from the Duster.
The Dacia Duster The cheapest you can buy right now is the Essential with a 100 hp (74 kW) engine adapted to LPG. This is, in the opinion of many, the cheapest option that currently exists in the SUV market and the sales figures attest to this.
And the truth is that the current generation of the Duster is not without appeal and has some qualities that make it quite interesting and attractive to buy. But no, the truth is that it is not at this time the cheapest SUV you can buy. And it may not be the best buy either.
Skoda Kamiq
And it is that in Motor.es you can access an offer that at this moment leaves the Škoda Kamiq nothing less than 8000 euros cheapereven costing less than the Dacia Duster of access to the range of the Romanian brand.
In the case of B SUV Czech, we are talking about a price of 16,360 euros, 20 euros less than its Dacia counterpart. But what does the Kamiq offer that makes it more interesting with this offer?

Javier Gómara tells you everything about the Škoda Kamiq.
The first is evident with the price mentioned above, as well as in finishes even superior to those of reputed SUV’s and group brothers such as the SEAT Arona or the Volkswagen T-ROC and T-Cross.
Regarding the latter, we can highlight series elements such as the 9.2-inch touch screenLED headlights, rain sensor and lights, leather steering wheel and gear lever or anti-multi-collision braking system, among others.
Finishing with the interior habitability, it is something that stands out especially considering the exterior dimensions of the Skoda Kamiq in relation to the Dacia Duster. And it is that it is shorter, lower and narrower.

We have already told you at the beginning that the Duster includes the conversion to LPG. The Kamiq is also bifuel, although in this case you can use CNG. The version we are talking about, and which is reduced by more than 8,000 euros at the moment, is the 1.0 TGI 66kW (90CV) with ACTIVE finish.
This circumstance means that both have the ECO environmental label of the DGT. This is, without a doubt, a great advantage for both when it comes to driving through large cities with restrictions due to pollution protocols or LEZs (Low Emissions Zones).
