In recent years we have seen that the theme of the Multiverse has been explored by Marvel productions and the one that has done it best is Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which will have a sequel next year. The Spider-verse has presented new versions of the spider-man and one of them is the Web-Weaverwhich has just arrived in Marvel’s Spider-Man for PC thanks to a new mod.
The Web-Weaver is the first homosexual Spider-Man and will be introduced in volume #5 of Spider-Man: Edge of Spider-Verse, a comic made in collaboration with the producers of the film that explores new Marvel universes that we could see in the following movies. The present day the Web-Weaver came to Marvel’s Spider-Man from Insomniac Games and you can download the mod via NexusMods.

Mid-August saw the arrival of Marvel’s Spider-Man on Steam on PC, and since then we’ve seen the modding community expand the game with their creations. Today the “Web-Weaver” mod was published on the Nexus Mod portal, which was made by The Gr0nch Inspired by the suit from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse from the game.
The Web-Weaver was revealed in late June by Steve Foxe, the writer of Edge of Spider-Man #5, and the character has since been confirmed to be designed by Kris Anka. Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the producers of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and its sequels, are known to be involved in the comic book story, so it could connect to the movies.
A few weeks ago there was controversy over a mod that sought the opposite of the Web-Weaver, as a user published a homophobic mod on NexusMod with the intention of eliminating LGBT+ representation by removing the few pride flags that we can find in Marvel’s Spider-Man by Insomniac Games.
