Discover the details and the lessons that the second trailer for Venom: Let There be Carnage gave us, a film that will arrive in September 2021
One of the most anticipated releases for 2021 is Venom: Let there be Carnage, a film that presents for the first time on the big screen one of the most fearsome villains in the Marvel Universe, Carnage, who stole a camera in the second trailer, which it throws us several lessons.
Don’t Miss: The Second Trailer for Venom: Let There Be Carnage Will Blow Your Mind
From passages that Carnage has starred in the history of Marvel, to volumes that Carnage and Venom have starred in the pages of The House of Ideas, this second trailer has given us several lessons to analyze.
We share the details that the second trailer for Venom: Let there be Carnage gave us.
Renegade Symbiote
While Eddie Brock is the best host the Venom symbiote has ever had, that doesn’t mean that the relationship between the two is not without its problems, something we’ve learned from the comics in the first place.
In addition to Eddie Brock, people like Marc Gargan, Flash Thompson, Peter Parker and even Wade Winson have been guests of the symbiote, but Brock is the one who understands it best, and copes, something that is also demonstrated in the film
Different origin
In the pages of Spider-Man # 344 we saw how the symbiote released Eddie Brock from prison, but in the escape of both from the penitentiary they left a ‘memory’ which Cletus Kasady collected, which turned him into Carnage.
For Venom: Let there Be Carnage the origin of the crimson symbiote will be a little different from the one we saw in the comics, since thanks to the cannibalistic wishes of Kasady, the prisoner in the San Francisco penitentiary will obtain a part of the symbiote that will turn him into Carnage.
Shriek
In this trailer we have finally seen the actress Naomie Harris, who will play Frances Louise Barrison, the villain who is better known as Shriek (Howl in Spanish), who would be interned in the Ravencroft asylum.
Shriek can fly, as well as generate sound waves, which he can use in the form of explosions, with which he can fly and damage his enemies. You can also use your light to bring out the dark side of people.
Maximun carnage
Some of the scenes that Carnage gave us in this new trailer resemble one of his most memorable escapes in his history in the Marvel mythilogy, which was featured in Spider-Man Unlimited # 1 (1993).
In this escape, Carnage unleashed his full homicidal potential to assassinate custodians and inmates alike, and his goal on the big screen will be to take down Eddie Brock / Venom, as well as wreak monumental-sized chaos.
Influence of Peter Milligan
The color palette, added to the action shown in the second trailer, takes us back to one of the best stories that symbiotes have starred in recent years, Venom vs Carnage, written by Peter Milligan.
In this plot, the two symbiotes will engage in a conflict where Carnage has only one objective, to preserve that his legacy of madness and thirst for blood continue, and therefore “plans” to reproduce, something that Venom, Spider-Man and Black Cat will seek to prevent. ..
Venom: Let There Be Carnage will be directed by Andy Serkis and will feature Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock / Venom, Woody Harrelson as Cletus Kassady / Carnage, Michelle Williams as Anne Weying and Reid Scott as Dan Lewis.
Its premiere will arrive on September 24, 2021.
