A few weeks ago a Twitter account called The Snitch (the snitch), which leaked the content of the State of Play and Overdose, the new game by Hideo Kojima. In a third publication, the account would have announced when The Last of Us Remake arrives on PS5 and PC.
Yesterday, The Snitch account made a post saying “PART 1 – 02.09.2022”, along with an icon of a control and a PC. Since the sequel was called “The Last of Us PART 2”, it is believed that the tweet refers to the still unannounced Remake. In addition, the journalist Jeff Grubb also believes that the remake would arrive in September, according to what he said on the GrubbSnax show.

In May, more clues emerged of the alleged The Last of Us RemakeWell, we learned that Naughty Dog is working on two unannounced projects, and one of them is a remake. That was learned from a Naughty Dog employee’s LinkedIn profile, though the employee in question has since changed his job description to remove mention of a remake.
Although The Last of Us in its PlayStation 4 version already looks great, especially on a PS4 Pro, a next-gen remake could present us with an even more immersive experience by making the world more detailed. About a month ago a group of fans imagined what a TLOU remake with Unreal Engine 5 could look like, and the results are very good.
Assuming that The Last of Us Remake is real and arrives on PlayStation 5 and PC in September, Sony would make its announcement very soon, as we would be only 3 months away from its launch. It is possible that Sony will present something during the Summer Game Fest today, so we only have to wait for an official announcement of The Last of Us Remake.
