The tender relationship between Yamato and Ace in One Piece
The 1015th episode of One Piece, titled “”Straw Hat Luffy – The Man Who Will Become the Pirate King” premiered on April 24 to almost unanimous praise from fans and professional critics alike. The episode features a long flashback showing the relationship between Yamato and another great and memorable character, Ace. He was the one who first told him about Luffy’s dream of being the pirate king.
As the Battle of Onagashima begins when Luffy and the other members of the Worst Generation begin their face-to-face confrontation with Kaidou. We have a tender moment to relive the old memories of their characters and remember why are they fighting.
I have no words for this.
I was expecting a terrific episode, but this is literally second to none. How grateful I am to be able to enjoy this work.

The One Piece anime series recently returned earlier this month after spending over six weeks on an unplanned hiatus. Production on the series was delayed after Toei Animation suffered a targeted ransomware attack, forcing the company to shut down its private network.
And he couldn’t have done it in a better way, both his fans of yesteryear and those just starting out in One Piece, appreciated the way Megumi directed this chapter, showing us the most sensitive side of Ace and Yamato. If you are a fan of this saga, you will know why Ace’s presence is so important at this time, what is the role he plays narratively, not only as emotional support but as a motor against Kaido.
