With the passage of time and even with the appearance of the pandemic, the population around the world has focused its gaze on their physical and mental well-being, factors that lead them to be able to afford a full family and work life, being an essential element where brands and companies must focus in order to attract the eyes of new clients and talents.
According to a study conducted by Gallup, the 85 percent of workers are not satisfied with their workspace, just as they do not feel committed or identified, in addition to feeling emotionally disconnected, being some particular characteristics that directly influence the flow of personnel within an organization and, consequently, damage its image. There are several alternatives by which this type of situation occurs, such as a high workload, lack of recognition in the company, little opportunity for promotion and challenges, lack of autonomy, a bad environment, among other types of inconsistencies that result in a bad work experience for a professional.
Taking into account that most employees spend a considerable period of their lives in offices, it is vitally important that they feel good about what companies have to offer them and thus provide some benefits to them.
According to the Statista study on “what makes us happy?”, it is shown that mental health and well-being, feeling that a life has meaning, living conditions, meaningful work and having a good economic remuneration, are extremely important to achieve a full life, made where the employer branding can play a fundamental role.
According to the Happiness and Work study carried out by Sustainable Growth on a sample population of more than 1,400 employees in Mexico, those companies that have collaborators who “feel good” manage to register a considerable increase in energy, dynamism and adaptation to changesthus managing to improve productivity within a work organization, but how to achieve this?
There are endless ways in which a company can implement employer branding, increase employee loyalty and be attractive to acquire future talentas it can be with a welcome kit or benefits for your well-being.
An example of this we could see some time ago, when a new employee of Hersey’s showed his welcome kit with which he was received by the brand, awakening the interest of social networks to join the company as one of its employees; likewise, an Adidas worker demonstrated that in the corporate of the brand some people were given the opportunity to offer them an hour to play sports within their working hours, as long as they attended the gym, causing the envy of professionals on LinkedIn.
Employer branding is a strong bet so that the employees of a brand find an ally in their companies when looking for the key to happiness.
