There is sentence. After months of trial and scuffle between Apple and Epic Games, Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers has already finished deliberating and has put her conclusion on the table: Apple is not a monopoly, but it will have to make transfers.
That means that Epic Games does not achieve the goal it wanted, which was to be able to establish its own application store within the iOS ecosystem and independently from the App Store. This will remain the only app store on iOS and derived operating systems.
But the victory is not complete for Apple. The ruling obliges the company to ensure that all applications (and not only the “readers” as it had recently established) have right to offer and link to other external payment methods other than those of the App Store itself.
