Everything everywhere at the same time (Everything Everywhere All at Once) made the predictions valid in the 2023 delivery of the Oscar Awards. The multiversal adventure won the golden statuette for Best Picture, the highest honor awarded by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS).
Directed by the Daniels duo, Everything everywhere at the same time competed in the main shortlist with: The Fabelmansby Steven Spielberg; No news at the frontby Edward Berger; Avatar: The Path of Waterby James Cameron; the spirits of the islandby Martin McDonagh; Elvisby Baz Luhrmann; tarby Todd Field; Top Gun: Maverickby Joseph Kosinski; The triangle of sadness, by Ruben Östlund; and They speakby Sarah Polley.
Upon entering the ceremony, Everything everywhere at the same time It was the most nominated film of this edition with 11 mentions and it was established as the most successful of the night with 7 Oscars. The film also took home awards for Best Directing, Best Original Screenplay, Best Editing, Best Actress for Michelle Yeoh, Best Supporting Actor for Ke Huy Quan and Best Supporting Actress for Jamie Lee Curtis. In addition, Stephanie Hsu was also nominated for Best Supporting Actress and they competed in the quintets for Best Costume Design, Best Soundtrack and Best Original Song.

In accordance with IGN, Everything everywhere at the same time became the most awarded film in history with more than 150 awards, surpassing The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. In addition to the Oscar, the film took home the Best Picture award from the Producers Guild, the Critics’ Choice and the Independent Spirit Awards this awards season. It was also recognized as one of the 10 best films of the year by the National Board of Review and the American Film Institute.
