After the news was made public first thing this morning, the Canadian study has not taken long to make public his new employment situation with Crustal Dynamics and the future of Perfect Dark.
After news of its purchase was made public, CrystalDynamics posted a statement on its Twitter account stating that “Embracer Group will help propel us to new heights as we continue to deliver exciting experiences from our beloved portfolio of franchises, as well as original concepts and IP developed with partners“. Words that The Initiative has not hesitated to quote to reassure fans about its association with Crystal Dynamics and the development of Perfect Dark.
In other words, despite this business movement, Crystal Dynamics work in Perfect Dark will not be affected and will continue to work closely with The Initiative to bring Xbox fans this reboot. “We are excited to see Crystal Dynamics take these next steps with their studio. Our teams have made great progress building Perfect Dark together as co-development partners, and cWe will continue this work with them in their next chapter.“says the Canadian study.

Perfect Dark, the great bet of Xbox
In the absence of E3 2022, Xbox and Bethesda will hold an event on June 12 where they will show game news for this year and next. Beyond Starfield it is unknown what games we will see at the conference, but there are those who suggest that Perfect Darl would be one of the stars of the show by Xbox. We’ll see if this reboot of the legendary Rare franchise, now in the hands of The Initiative, is finally ready to be shown.
