The Before and After of this bathroom is one of those that impresses due to how much its image has changed despite the fact that most of its elements have been maintained. The person responsible for the change, Ana Lorenzana de Decoryver, acknowledges that this is what many of these changes are about. To transform spaces without generating debris because, in addition to being a more economical solution, it is the most sustainable and clean option.
And it is that, if something works and is in good condition, why change it? If what is needed is a change of aesthetics, it can be achieved with new coatings that cover the previous ones and a change of accessories. And as proof we bring this new Before and After in which an old-fashioned and cold bathroom (the steel of the sink helps these sensations) has been transformed into a contemporary bathroom, beautiful and even sophisticated thanks to its new colors and textures.
The bathroom before
Although its condition was acceptable, it was clear that it was a bathroom that had seen better days. Perhaps the most outstanding thing was the state of its tiles that imitate stone and that did not go well with the orange wood finish of the sink cabinet, which matches the mirror.
The bathroom after
If something stands out in the new year it is the new wall and floor finishes. The initial soil has been covered with a vinyl Very natural oak wood finish.
For the walls, a white tiled paint has been used, with the exception of the washbasin wall, for which an elegant turquoise blue has been chosen, which stands out among the neutrality of the rest of the walls and the new floor.
As for the furniture, the bathtub has been changed for a more modern one and the changed toilets (sink and toilet), have been kept in the same place so as not to modify its facilities. Even the radiator it has been changed for a towel rail model that now fulfills a double function.
Undoubtedly the most striking is the oak wood washbasin cabinet (like the floor) and a countertop washbasin with a large straight-shaped drawer.
The mirror and accessories in gold generate a nice contrast due to its rounded shapes and textures (the warm wood versus the golden shine), which give rise to a very elegant space.
and attention to the decorative style note. Instead of ceiling lights, two pendant lamps frame the mirror, creating the feeling of a beautiful dressing table that attracts all eyes in the bathroom.
