Xenoblade Chronicles 3 It has been released in style and its creator, Tetsuya Takahashionce again surpassed itself with an amazing RPG title that has all the banners to position itself not only as a benchmark in the role-playing game genre, but also to be considered one of the best products of this year.
Said success would not have been possible without Takahashi’s extensive career in the video game industry, which began in the late eighties, where he joined Nihon Falcomto be involved in the development of Ys III: Wanderers from Ys Y Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes.
A couple of years later, he joined squaresofttoday Square-Enix, showing the quality of their work in productions such as Final Fantasy 5, Final Fantasy VI Y chrono triggerwhich have been reflected in the history of entertainment.
During his time at said company, he married Kaori Tanaka, better known by the pseudonym of Soraya Saga and that she has collaborated with her husband on multiple projects. The love story persists to date but in 1999, Mr. Takahashi decided to leave Squaresoft, because he did not want to pigeonhole his imagination only to the saga final-fantasy.
Such a decision marked a turning point not only in the professional career of his apprentice, Tetsuya Nomurawho rose to fame for designing the main characters of Final Fantasy 7but to Tetsuya himself, becoming the co-founder of Monolith Softwhere the world gamer has witnessed the conception regarding large-scale licenses such as xeno gearsthe trilogy of xenosaga and of course, Xenoblade Chronicles.
Although there is no connection in history between his different works, Tetsuya Takahashi wanted the franchises referred to above to carry the prefix “Xeno”to be seen as a symbol of identity and distinction only linked to himself.
In another order of ideas, Soma Bringer is an RPG in which the aforementioned character participated, which was released for nintendo ds only in Japan, almost a year after Monolith Soft had been acquired by Nintendo in 2007 and would be the prelude to converting Monado: Beginning of the World in the iconic series that we know today as Xenoblade Chronicles.
Without a doubt, Takahashi’s legacy has reached its pinnacle with Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and it will be interesting to know what are the next challenges that the Japanese artist will venture into, either within his universe called “Xeno” or prefer to cover new horizons. Whatever your decision, it will be a new exclusive to Nintendo.
