Marvel has shared shared a photograph where we can see the three actors of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield recreating the famous Spider-Man meme that has been going viral for many months, where now there are three superheroes who are pointing to each other, as if they did not know each other, a moment that could be seen, in a more subtle way, in the film itself.
The meme, which comes, whose image comes from the 1967 Spider-Man cartoon episode, ‘double identity’, in which a villain tries to impersonate the hero, has been shared again to announce the sale of formats domestic and digital appearance of the film on March 22 with a special image of the actors during the shootingamong other behind-the-scenes moments like Tobey Maguire imitating some forbidden steps from his infamous dance in ‘Spider-Man 3’.
During the promotion of the film, Tom Holland confirmed during a conversation with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield for Deadline that playing Spider-Man alongside MCU veterans Maguire and Garfield was a very collaborative process, adding:
“Garfield had ideas like cracking Tobey’s back and also coming up with the idea of pointing at us, that’s all we came up with that day. It was so much fun to be able to play with three guys in Spider-Man suits… Sharing it with these guys will forever be one of the most special experiences of my career.”
it turned out that the pointing Spider-Man meme became a favorite moment of the fans, like other of the most emotional ones who have made the best of the film thanks to Garfield’s improvisation. The star talked about how the scene came to be with the Happy Sad Confused podcast:
“We were trying to figure out how we were going to make the meme of pointing at each other in some way, it took a while, it happened naturally in that scaffolding scene with Peter 1, Peter 2, Peter 3, like other things. I remember having a fleeting idea and running to the set and saying to director Jon Watts, ‘I got it, I got it,’ because there’s a moment where Jacob Batalon says, ‘Hey, Peter?’ and we all say, ‘Yeah?’ But in the script, it was like, that was it. We all say ‘Yes?’ And in the script, my Peter says, ‘This isn’t going to get old at all,’ which was kind of sardonic, which cut into the timing a little bit.”

“Instead, the sequence of pointing at us is actually a little cuter, so we thought I might say, ‘Oh, this is adorable. We’re so adorable. God, we’re cute. Kind of. But then I was like, no, this is the at which point we can say, ‘You mean me?’ and Jon said, ‘That’s it. That’s perfect. Done.’ I was so happy that it worked…”
