Currently, digital health impacts the user in a beneficial way in certain processes. It is in the interest of companies that digital services improve their practices every day to obtain the expected results at all levels.
Every day, more people access the digital world. According to data from the National Institute of Statistics, the population that uses the Internet frequently (at least once a week) ranges from 16 to 34 years of age.
And Hootsuite data says that:
– Users of social networks will increase by 227 million during 2022.
– At the beginning of July 2022, a total of 4.7 billion were reached (only in the month of July).
– The global base of social networks has increased more than 5% in the last 6 months.
– The current global total represents 59% of the total world population.

Given all these changes, the health and well-being needs of consumers have evolved and thanks to a study carried out by Nielsen IQ, we know the 5 needs that are currently a priority:
1. Protection. Urgent care: protection of the individual and/or her family from immediate health threats.
2. Conservation. Self care: improve the well-being and current physical or emotional connections of the individual and/or their family.
3. Aspirational. Preventive care: proactive actions to achieve specific health goals, or help avoid long-term ailments.
4. In evolution. Innovative Care: Actively seeking the latest alternatives to meet health and wellness goals.
5. Altruistic. Altruistic care: Improving the world around the individual, defending environmental, ethical, humanitarian and/or philanthropic causes.
There is a lot of data that must be considered to generate the best strategies and cover these needs in order to promote significant changes both in the generation of health content and in digital care through the different channels.
