Just a few days ago the first episode of the halo series from Paramount+ (although episodic fiction continues without a date or platform in Spain) and fans of the saga starring the Master Chief have already been able to enjoy the first minutes of this adaptation of one of the most iconic video games in history. As expected, the title hides much more than meets the eye. So much so that we now know that the Halo series includes a fun nod to Mass Effectvideo game franchise that shares genre (space science fiction) and release dates with Halo.
so it has made known the GamesRadar+ portal, which briefly places us in the context of the series. Please note that below you will find minor spoilers, without too much importance. If you don’t want to know anything, don’t read on. Just after Miranda Keyes finished speaking with Kwan Ha, a radio transmission from the UNSC flagship can be heard that reads: “Commander Shepherd, your presence is requested at the Skyllian Response Center.”, in a more than obvious reference to the saga created by BioWare, although Shepherd is spoken of instead of Shepard. The character even keeps his position intact with respect to Mass Effect.
The Halo series will not follow the history of video games
In fact, the part of the Skyllian Response Center is another reference to Mass Effect, since the Skyllian Boundary it is the zone bordering between the human borders and the Terminus systems in the BioWare franchise. Speaking to GamesRadar+ itself, 343 Industries has confirmed that it is a Mass Effect easter egg because “Who doesn’t like Mass Effect?”, they have pointed out in textual words. Remember that the Halo series has already been released on Paramount +, but we still don’t know when or where we can enjoy it in Spain.
